What to expect during a routine dental cleaning

Part of getting to know you and providing safe, personalized support involves reviewing your medical history. Certain medical conditions and medications can influence your treatment options, so you will be asked to provide a list of your current medications and their dosages (including vitamins and supplements). 

A comprehensive oral exam and x-rays, if necessary, will be performed including a non-invasive oral cancer screening. Our team will remove any built-up plaque and tartar, brush your teeth with a gritty toothpaste, and provide a through flossing.

Your dentist will talk to your overall oral health and will advise the scheduling for any follow-up appointments accordingly. Together you can create a healthy, effective treatment plan that best meets your dental and personal needs.
